We are Chris & Gemma Conway, founders of Conway & Sons Coastal in Whitstable.

Previously we ran Sundae Sundae at the same shop for 10 years and made the decision to change direction so we can be more creative and at the same time make the shop a lot bigger.

Inside the new larger space you will find a coastal gallery full of prints, a large Dock & Bay range, eco buckets & spades from Scrunch, coastal toiletries, the full range of Gluggle jugs and our very own candles and diffusers for that coastal fragrance.

Back in 2020 during that 1st lockdown we didn’t know what the future held so we started to work on some new ideas for our shop and The Whitstable Candle Co. was born, now with more space we can expand this range to include more scents and products.

As a business we strive to keep our impact on the environment to a minimum, the waxes we use are all natural as are the cotton wicks and we will always try to use recyclable or biodegradable packaging where we can.
